A resurgent Dromore Club, who were unable to field a 2nd XV earlier in the season, came back with a vengeance to comfortably defeat a patched up Grosvenor 2s by 47-19. Grosvenor scored first when McMullan supported well and scored a try which he converted. This was to be the only time that the visitors would be in the lead as Dromore dominated the rest of the half with a speedy and skillful backline. Dromore scored 4 tries and converted 2 and despite a deserved try by Dean Swift, the half time score was 26-14. By this stage Grosvenor had lost both centres to injury, so the task was even more difficult. As Dromore sought to increase their lead, the visitors fought back with a sound scrum laying the basis for a prolonged period of pressure. Dromore extended their lead with 3 converted tries before Grosvenor scored a final consolation try to leave the final score at 47-19.
